Royal Mexican Ebony (or Katalox) is my personal favorite exotic wood. Though not to work with - it's ridiculously hard! It starts out life with a rich dark chocolate color but over time will darken to near-black.
This version of our 8" Globe pendant features a flared out mouth, allowing for a wider spread of light beneath the fixture. Very classy.
Includes 6' of woven-nylon coated SVT wire and 4-inch, antique bronze ceiling canopy. Please indicate in comments if you require additional cord length.
All of our fixtures use medium base (E26) porcelain sockets, rated up to 240V. The E26 base is the standard in the US, Canada, and Japan. It's also mechanically compatible with the E27 base used across most of Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world.
